Hello, my name is Richard Lake and I am a sports therapist with a lifelong passion for sports. I grew up in South Africa where I played provincial-level Cricket and Hockey. Unfortunately, I experienced firsthand the challenges associated with sports injuries when I ruptured my ACL at the age of 18, and the subsequent rehabilitation process that followed.
With this experience, I developed a keen interest in the field of sports therapy and began studying in the UK. Over the years, I have gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the prevention, treatment and management of sports injuries and chronic and acute pain.
As a sports therapist, I believe in a holistic approach to treatment that encompasses manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and education, and injury prevention strategies. My aim is to help athletes of all levels, from amateur to professional, to return to their sport as quickly and safely as possible.
As a seasoned health and fitness expert with over 23 years of experience, I am passionate about helping people achieve their best possible physical state. My journey in the health and fitness industry began at the age of 17, and since then, I have dedicated my life to enhancing my knowledge and skills in the field.
With an unwavering commitment to my craft, I have recently relocated to Spain with my family, where I continue to pursue my passion for helping people rehabilitate their bodies. My approach to health and fitness is centered on a holistic perspective, which focuses on not only treating existing injuries but also preventing future ones.
With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, I work closely with my clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored rehabilitation and fitness plans to achieve their goals. Sports & Remedial Massage
Treats the soft tissues of our bodies including muscles, fascia and tendons with the aim to speed up recovery, relieve pain and improve posture and movement.

targets specific areas of tension within an individual muscle with the aim of removing scar tissue and adhesion to relieve muscular tension and pain.
